THE RIDE
Cycling for Change 2012, Going to Joplin!
June 3-9, 2012
Cycling for Change was inspired by the Campaign to Reduce Poverty in America. In 2010, Catholic Charities of Kansas City-St. Joseph sponsored a 100-day, 5,000 mile bike ride across America to raise funds for the poverty-reduction programs of its’ Caritas Center. The ride was a vehicle for advocacy, fundraising and awareness of poverty in our nation and local communities.
More than 11 million people were touched by the ride, and this summer the adventure continues in our own backyard!
