Pregnancy Resource Center 50% Tax Credit

Your contribution to Catholic Charities of Kansas City-St. Joseph designated to the Services for Pregnant Women and Babies program may be eligible for the Pregnancy Resource Center Tax Credit (Section 135.630 RSMo).

Qualified donations to Catholic Charities’ Services for Pregnant Women program are eligible for a 50% tax credit.  Please click to complete the application for claiming tax credits.

Please note: 

• Donated personal property items (donations of baby clothes or supplies) are not eligible for the credit.
• Cannot exceed the taxpayer’s state income tax liability for the year the credit is claimed.
• The taxpayer cannot claim credits under this program in excess of $50,000 per taxable year.
• The maximum amount of eligible tax credit issued may be equivalent of 50% of the value of the qualifying donation.
  
  

Missouri Food Pantry 50% Tax Credit

As an incentive to encourage donations to food pantries, the State of Missouri allows a tax credit - not just a deduction - for contributions to a food pantry, such as Catholic Charities’ food pantries at the TurnAround Program and the Fr. Hix Center.

Any taxpayer (individual, corporation or trust) that makes a donation of cash or food supplies to a food pantry may receive a credit of up to $2,500 per taxpayer per year. The taxpayer may take a credit of 50% of their donations. The total amount available for the Food Pantry Tax Credit is $2,000,000 in any fiscal year from July 1 to June 30.

These food pantries provide food to thousands of children and families each year, thanks to the generosity of donors like you!
