TurnAround Mentoring Program - Kansas City, Liberty, Belton, Independence
TurnAround Mentoring supports men and women who have been incarcerated or jailed in making positive life choices that enable them to make healthy transitions back into the community. Volunteers over the age of 25 commit for one year to assist men and women develop goals, budget monthly expenses and learn new life skills.
F.A.B. = Friends and Buddies! Mentoring Children in Foster Care
This program fosters one-on-one relationships between adult volunteers and children in foster care to help them succeed in life. The relationships give children the confidence, resources and skills they need to reach their full potential. Mentors must be over 21 years of age and be willing to commit to meeting with their mentee at least 10 hours a month for one year.
