Adoption Options

Catholic Charities assists in building families through infant, international, foster care and special needs adoptions. Adoptions may be open or closed.

Licensed in Missouri and accredited through the Council on Accreditation, Catholic Charities utilizes highly-trained and experienced professional staff for adoption services which include:

• comprehensive home studies
• post-placement supervision
• ongoing support for birth mother and adoptive parents
• services for pregnant women

Catholic Charities focuses on three key components in the adoption triad:

• the child
• the birth family
• the adoptive family

The agency is committed to treating each person in this triad with dignity, compassion and respect. The Catholic Charities staff, which consists of dedicated professionals with extensive experience in all types of adoptions, provide supportive services before, during and after the adoption is finalized.
