Foster Care Case ManagementFoster Care Case Management at Catholic Charities is an accredited, structured and formal process of helping children and families live safe, healthy and productive lives. The process, though mandated by the state and courts of law - is fueled by Catholic Charities' mission-focused compassion and a commitment to serve people in need. Foster Care case managers visit foster homes frequently to help parents or primary caregivers develop the proper resources and coping skills for the family. In addition, the case managers attend court hearings, school meetings, physician and counseling appointments. Catholic Charities' goal is to strengthen and reunite families whenever possible. When this is not possible, Catholic Charities works to find a loving relative or nurturing family to adopt or provide guardianship to the child. Family Advocates, LLCCatholic Charities of Kansas City-St. Joseph, in partnership with Crittenton, provide foster care services under the name Family Advocates, LLC.
