Cash and In-Kind Donations
The TurnAround Program, Catholic Charities’ nationally acclaimed
program, relies on the generosity of concerned donors as it works with
men and women returning to our communities from prison. Strengths-based
case management, tempered with compassion and accountability, help these
men and women turn their lives around. They are finding jobs, establishing
stable home environments, and contributing to the safety of our communities.
The program welcomes donations of:
• Cash for bus passes, state identification cards, and birth certificates
• New or gently worn denim jeans, especially for construction
and labor jobs; Of particular need are men's jeans in sizes 32 to 38;
• Non-perishable food, laundry detergent
• Hygiene items such as toothpaste, soap, deodorant
• Household items for setting up apartment residence
For information on where to deliver donated items, please call 816.561.1835
or email Program Manager.
